<p>The equipment is for use with unnatural abdominal emanations (anus praeter) by colostomy patients. It comprises a non-elastic belt whose ends are joined by an adjustable buckle, the stools receptacle (16) is formed directly in the belt (11). On the inside of the latter is an opening (17) leading to the receptacle, and surrounded by a sealing ring. The belt can be in the form of a hose, either entirely or near the opening, and of sheet material, preferably transparent. Plate-shaped distance pieces (31) can be inserted in belt, the one at the opening having a spigot extending through the opening and on which the sealing ring is mounted.</p> |
