Fluid sample analyser for soil extracts - has three conveyors carrying soil vessels to flame and spectral photometers and pH meter

Fluid sample analyser, esp. for soil extracts, has sample and transport container handling systems and a distributor with agitators and feed pipes, and a reaction section having a measuring bridge at the end. The transport system comprises separately controlled conveyor belts (1, 2, 3) having loading and unloading devices at each end for sample and reaction vessels (5). These vessels are carried in pairs (a, b) on the belts. The meas. and handling devices for the distributor (11) and the meas. bridge can be switched for consecutive measurement of the two samplers in each pair. Two of the belts may have a synchronized drive, one feeding samples to a flame photometer for potassium measurement and the other to a spectral photometer for a phosphate measurement, whilst the third belt feeds samples to a pH meter.
