摘要 <p>Friction surface of lifting cylinders, esp. of large internal combustion engines, is metallised with a thermally sprayed on so-called pseudo-alloy coating, contg. by wt., 2.5-5.5(4-5)% Si, 1-2.5 (1.5-2)% Cu, 25-40(30-35)% Sn, 2.5-4.5 (3.5-4)% Sb, bal. Al. Starting material for pseudo-alloy consists of two simultaneously metallising pre-alloy wires, one contg. AlSi and the other SnSbCu. Coating acts as an overload safety device. In normal operation of the engine, coating has high resistance to abrasion. On overheating, coating is capable of deformation. Softer alloy components yield first, whereas the stronger form a strengthening grid.</p>
