<p>The mobile machine, for gauging railway track setting during and/or following construction or repair work on the ballast bed is mounted on a track-bound vehicle housing a metering scanner and a number of comparing scanners which establish the reference system. An adjustable unit (6) is mounted in the vehicle (1), serving as reference system; for each rail there are several measuring points, one after another and/or between the travelling axles. The norm unit may have transmitters (7) attached to it, arranged for measurement of the interval between the unit and the rail (4) - whether mechanically, optically, pneumatically, hydraulically, electrically or magnetically. The measuring points can be mounted on an elastic rod for pressure against the rail, arranged to measure deformation or torsion. Measuring points following in rapid succession can be very accurately gauged even when travelling at low speed.</p> |
