Horizontal machine for impulsing cutting of continually moving blocks, comprising a bed containing an impulse chamber (1) which causes the ram (7) with one blade (8) to move in the cutting area, and an anvil block (10) carrying a second blade (11). This block also moves in the cutting area, enabling the cutting process to be achieved by the two respective blades. The one end of the bed (14) is attached to a link (15) fitted on a fixed lower fixture, whilst the other bed end is attached to the movable part (16) of a power cylinder arranged in a vertical plane and capable of inclination. A contol unit is provided for operating the power cylinder immediately after the block has been divided.
