A thin, deformable outer layer 38 which allows the offset preventing material to pass through to its outer surface is supported by layer 36 and receives the offset preventing material therefrom, forming a barrier to toner material on the image being fused. A threaded collar 42 and flange 40 hold layer 36 in position and means may be provided to separate roll 31 from a backup roll 44 when not in use. Materials for the components are specified. |
