Small cine camera with blur facility - is operated by manual pushbutton to introduce translucent plates for mixing shots

In this camera a shot can be ended by pressing a hand-button (13) to move (pref. two) scene blurring elements (11, 12) (pref. translucent plates) across the light path. The hand-button (13) brings this mechanism (14, 18, 19) into connection with a source of camera drive (8). At the end of the movement, a cog (12a) on one of the translucent plates switches off the camera drive (at 4). The return movement of the translucent plates is made under the action of springs (20, 29). This movement may be delayed until the camera shutter is again open (so that the new shot begins with an unblurring). For this purpose a latch coupled to the shutter knob may be provided.
