<p>The tractor attachment for extracting silage from a silo consists of a container with an opening for the silage which is conveyed by means of a conveyor roller. In the top of the container are two pins suspended in the hooked ends of lever arms. An emptying cylinder is positioned on the underneath side of the container, which may consist of a conveyor belt with tines on, and positioned crosswise to the direction of travel. The rollers for the conveyor belt-which extends the width of the container are mounted in dips. The emptying cylinder and pick-up are driven pref. by oil motors from the tractor, with the oil passing through pipes on the arms. Above the conveyor roller is a cover plate.</p> |
