<p>A car seat belt consists of bow frames (3', 3") swivelled from the seat back (2) and with interposed parallel shoulder straps (4'). The straps and frame ends are joined to a pelvic belt (5). Pref. the frames (3) and top ends of the straps (4) are joined to a rotary frame component (6) at the top of the seat back (2), preferably a cross stay forming part of the frame (8) round the back rims. Stiffener frames (11') may be fitted to the side surfaces (9') of the seat area (10) and these frames may be joined by a cross stay. Adjusters (14, 13) may be provided for the pelvic belt and for the shoulder straps.</p> |
