The pantograph transfers lines from a drawing or template to a workpiece, particularly an extrusion press die, having pivoting levers forming the sides of a parallelogram, pivoting on a trunnion fixed to the table. One lever has a tracing instrument and another a marking tool. A holder (8) accommodating an upper marking tool (7) is equipped with a further holder (10), clear of it and with a lower marking tool (11). The two holders are coupled together by a stirrup (15) movably mounted on the table (12). The marking tools can be oscillating centre punches each actuated by a ram unit (16), and in line with each other in the axial direction.
