<p>The drive mechanism is for the revolving drum for a tube mill and consists of a ring gear (3) releasably connected to the drum (1) and a drive pinion (4). The angle of engagement between pinion and ring gear is 25%. The teeth have a profile correction obtained by radial displacement of the tool during mfr. of the gears. It has positive and negative values for the pinion and ring gear, i.e. the crown circle is larger and smaller. The range of prodn. for the mfr. and of spare parts for the distributor can be reduced to a large extent.</p> |
