<p>An appts. is claimed to act as a spinarette for extrusion spinning, using a metal foil of approximately rectangular shape pressed on to curved supporting surfaces in the lower section of the housing, to give the spinning apertures at the housing outlet. The metal foil is a thin metal plate which can withstand spinning temperatures up to about 300 degrees C. The supporting surfaces for the metal foil are formed by cylindrical drillings running parallel to the lower side of the housing. The drillings have openings on the under side of the housing. The design gives an extrusion spinning unit which can operate at high spinning pressures and temps., which occupies little space, and which can be exchanged easily.</p> |
