<p>1484294 Hinges JULIUS BLUM GmbH 11 Sept 1974 [19 Sept 1973] 39660/74 Heading E2F In a snap hinge for furniture doors, a housing 4 is recessable in one part of the piece of furniture and pivotally attached to a hinge bracket 1 fixable to another part of the piece of furniture by means of linking arms 2, 3 forming a four point hinge, at least one engaging segment 5 is pivotable about an axis 14 against the resistance of a spring 7 and the engaging segment 5 is provided with at least one recess 9 into which engages a pin 11 associated with the linking arm 3. The segment 5 is provided with a resilient catch 18 which bears on the housing 4 when the hinge is in its open position shown in Figure 3. The surface 21 of the lever 3 engages a projection 22 on the resilient catch 18 during the closing operation (Figore 1).</p> |
