The clamp holds parts onto a machine table during machining operations. It comprises a solid base (1) with a tee nut (3) at the front, pivoting on a tightening screw (2). On this are two blocks, the lower (4) being permanent and the upper (5) specified in accordance with the height of the part. The rear of this top block has a stop (8, 9) and, at the front, is a threaded stud (6) for locating the clamp finger (10). This is spring loaded (12) and tightened down by a nut (13), bearing on the part and the stop. The blocks have a central web with an enlarged section each end.
