<p>PURPOSE:To securely preserve data when the abnormality of a power supply occurs by detecting the abnormality of the power supply and executing a resumption processing by means of ignoring a resuming setting state when interruption occurs. CONSTITUTION:Power control CPU (PU-CPU) provided in a power supply circuit 30 always supervises the power supply state of the internal part of a device and outputs power supply abnormality information shaowing the occurrence of power supply abnormality and the content to a power supply control interface 28 when it detects power abnormality including a low battery state in spite of the on/off state of the device source. The power supply control interface 28 generates NMI (prohibition impossible interruption) according to the content of power supply abnormality information and transmits it to host CPU 11. When NMI is in the low battery state, host CPU starts a resuming function in spite of the content of the resuming mode flag, and preserves system information which includes various LSI information and which can reproduce the state in backup RAM 19. Thus, data can securely be preserved.</p> |
