[Also in Division G3] The scoring tools 19a, 19b of a glass cutting machine are moved along a guide 8 to change the positions of the longitudinal scores by coupling to a moving member (a belt or chain) and, upon de-coupling, clamping to a fixed member e.g. the guide. By this means quick adjustments under automatic control may be effected without inertia delay. A comparator may be used to set the scoring tools by reference to a position control 32 which consists of a preset potentiometer (see Division G3).
