The electrical heater comprises an electrically conductive woven fabric having a weft comprising electrically conductive yarn. The electrical resistivity is such as to cause generation of heat when an electrical potential difference is applied. A warp of electrically non-conductive yarn is used and at least two spaced electrodes extending along the length of the fabric in electrical contact with the electrically conductive yarn are utilised.
