Device for connecting a grape hopper crusher (I) with a pump (II) in a weighing assembly, fitted with an indicating dial, comprises a pliable sleeve made of rubber or a rubberised fabric; it has a smooth bore with a radial reinforcement of a coil of spring steel, which prevents it from being flattened by the suction of the pump. The sleeve is inclined at an angle of 15 degrees with the horizontal; this facilitates flexing during the weighing and the absorption of small vertical movements of (I) without affecting the weight. It is fitted at each end with flanges and sealing rings for connection to similar flanges on the valve and on the evacuation pipe from (I). Device satisfies the requirements of the Weights and Measures Authorities at a low cost and without the necessity of time-consuming manipulations.
