<p>The sliding roof panel is operated by a gearing (5) operated manually or by a servo motor. this is mounted centrally in front of the panel and is linked to the panel by two cables, one on each side of the panel. The cables are fed into guides (10, 11) which lead to the central position. The gearing is fitted as on unit with lateral guides (7) which line up with the other cable so that the whole drive mechanism is fitted as one replacement unit. The assembly and repair of the drive mechanism is simplified, with locating tags to ensure that the cable guides line up.</p> |
