The hinge handle is fastened on a suitcase frame by holding brackets bonded on a housing. The housing is bonded on a pressed sheet metal part of the handle arrangement. The holding bracket is used in combination with such a housing. The housing (1) is a slightly bent central web (11). The central web is fastened by lateral brackets (22) on the handle arm. The bracket ends are punched through the frame (4) and the rear ends of the bracket are bent out straight so that they form a gripping arrangement. The side parts (13) forming the hood have two openings separated by distance corresponding to the distance between the bracket (22) and a holding bracket.
