Shoe cleaning machine has guide axle vertically positioned about a rotating frame turning around the guide axle. Driven brushes are arranged in pairs on the rotating frame and turn in opposite directions. The shoe cleaning machine includes an installation for dust removal by suction within the area of the brushes. The guide axle is made hollow on the rotating frame and is used as the collecting channel for the removal of the dust obtained through suction. The guide axle has openings on its circumference connected to the collecting channel in the interior of the guide axle.
