The modular system consists of identical modules - or modules whose sizes are related by being multiples of the support's unit grid cell - each having contacts on all four sides to connect with an adjacent module. The contacts (2) consist of spring brackets that clip over the module block and whose curved spring arms extend down the sides to form contact surfaces. The module blocks also have sockets (3) on their front faces for contact pins. Modules are disconnected from adjacent modules by moving them to another grid position.
