Rotary quilt stitch gripper lubricating device has a lubricant supply pipe which for the purpose of controlling the supply of lubricant is surrounded by a bore which communicates with the base of the bobbin case sump. Bore is provided with a grub screw which deflects the pipe w.r.t. the axis of the gripper. Bobbins case is supplied with the required amt. of lubricant at all running conditions.
