<p>Thermoplastic profiled sections are bent by using two parallel flexible metal strips which are connected together but can move longitudinally relative to each other and which have a number of supporting pieces on their adjacent sides, the section is laid on these pieces and a bending force is applied to the metal strips. Process eliminates all the difficulties of bending in hot baths, it produces exact shapes without undulations or bulges, and is easily performed.</p> |
