The clamping tool is for ring-shaped objects and comprises several sector-shaped segments (31) which are radially outwardly displaceable in guides. They are each cut differently for adaptation to a given type of object and for clamping the object from the inside. The segments are interconnected by resilient means (32) and together form a circular plate (20), resting on a guide block by their lower surfaces with integral guide ribs (23) engaging in radial grooves in the upper surface of the guide block. The segments are actuated conjointly by a central cone tensioner. The tensioner consists of a central pin (40) which can be lowered by a pneumatic cylinder onto the segments to push them outwards.
|
