The machine is for grinding the centralising bores where a grinding pin is driven by the drive equipment of the machine about its own axis and simultaneously about a reference axis parallel to the grinding pin axis. Thus the casing line of the centralising bore can be moved in an oscillating manner at an angle to the reference axis. The drive equipment of the machine contains a speed regulator which suits the speed of the rotation of the grinding pin about the reference axis to the oscillatingly changed spacing between the grinding pin axis and the reference axis. The appropriate grinding point on the workpiece continues with the same or roughly equal speed.
