<p>UV radiation appts. comprises a tungsten filament lamp (1) with a colour temp. of at least 3150 deg. and a wattage of at least 15 W, to which is coupled a rigid or flexible light conductor (7). A given solid angle of not less than 6 sr of filament radiation is picked up by an UV reflector and focussed onto a focal point (F1) outside the lamp. Between the filament (W) and focal point is a dielectric thin-film reflection filter (4) with a given angle (alpha (+-) O deg.) of the filter normal to the optical axis (W-F1), which has a max. reflection capacity for radiation of wavelength 330-400 nm. The filter has outside the optical axis a second less intensive focal point (F2) which contains a high proportion of UV rays and at which further filtering occurs. The resulting UV is picked up by the light conductor which has an effective numerical aperture of > 0.34.</p> |
