<p>Extended floats with a mechanically regulatable immersion depth, the depth being adjusted by flooding of the hollow chamber, but also can be achieved by the fact that on the outside of the floats there are water tight tubular sleeves (2) over its whole length. These can be moved in a vertical direction by spindles, and the spindles (3) can be used to adjust the immersion depth accurately. The volume of the movable sleeves is determined by the total weight of the floating unit. The extension of the floats side walls inclined outwards, also on the outflow side, effects a further increase in the current speed in the water trough. Flow from the trough is not restricted by laterally flowing water since no water build-up can be formed.</p> |
