The connector secures beams together in line with each other, and comprises a flat metal stirrup, having legs joining onto a base portion covering a horizontal beam face and inclined to this portion. Each of the legs has supporting faces for a transverse pin in one of the beams. - The legs (2) have a pair of coaxial supporting faces (4) for the pin ends (8), and the base portion (1) extends over the top of the beams. The faces are in the form of recesses in the lateral edges of the legs, and open towards the base portion. They can be complementary to the edges of the legs at the opposite end of the stirrup.
