1329521 Hair-waving compositions L'OREAL 14 Jan 1972 [15 Jan 1971] 1906/72 Addition to 1275829 Heading C3P [Also in Divisions C4 and D1] Wave-setting hair lotions contain, in aqueousalcoholic solution, at least one cosmetic resin and at least one dyestuff of the formula wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are each H, halogen, C 1-4 alkyl or C 1-4 alkoxy, and R 5 is C 1-6 alkyl. Suitable resins include polyvinylpyrrolidone, crotonic acid-vinyl acetate copolymers, vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymers and maleic anhydride-butyl vinyl ether copolymers, these resins generally being used in an amount of 1-3% by weight. Preferred alcohols are ethanol and isopropanol. In the examples the compositions also contain triethanolamine. |
