There is disclosed a parking system apparatus which enables vertical stacking of vehicles within vertical towers having a plurality of parking levels therein. The system further includes a vehicle hoist and positioning device which is movable from a first vehicle loading position, spaced from the tower to a second vehicle parking position within the tower. The hoist and positioning device cooperate together to facilitate elevation and positioning of the vehicle within parking area in the tower.
