<p>The flat glass panel control and guide mechanism is particularly for the window in a vehicle door. It enables the pane to tilt round two guide rollers while opening into the plane of the door, and vice-versa when shutting. It has a control lever (17) pivoting on a spindle (18) fixed to the body (5) of the door, and having a pair of jaws gripping a bar (14) parallel to the spindle and fixed to the lower edge of the pane (3). As the pane starts its downward movement, the lever causes it to swing towards the outside of the vehicle, the top edge describing a curve.</p> |
