Eddy current converter with excitation windings in circular slots - converts electric signals of different frequency and power into electromagnetic field

The excitation windings placed in circular slots are held in a dielectric support. Slots with smallest dia. carry measurement windings; those with a medium dia. are connected to a low power h.f. source, and those with larger dia. to a high power l.f. source. Windings (2, 3) are separated by an electromagnetic transversal screen (5), whose inner dia. is smaller than the smallest inner dia. of excitation windings. The windings are surrounded on the outside of an electromagnetic screen (4) made, like the transversal screen (5), of a non-magnetic material with high electric conductivity. Winding pairs (2, 3) are connected in parallel to the excitation source.
