<p>The single skin sound insulating building panel is for use in pref. double skinned assembled and movable partition walls. It is made from non-combustible or nearly non-flammable raw materials in powder, fibre, chip or granulated form, with suitable binding media. On one side it has a flat sealed surface, but the other side is deformed so as to produce a pref. orthotropic fortified panel, the surface of the deformed side being much greater than that of the flat side. The panel may incorporate zones of varying material density (1, 3) distributed over the whole surface in a pattern, pref. conforming to the geometry of the deformation, the periphery (2) being formed by a zone of high density. A wire mesh (4) may be partially or wholly pressed in, with punctiform or strip shaped assembly elements (5) fixed to it.</p> |
