Alkyl phosphites, phosphates and alkane phosphonic acid alkyl esters - prepd. by reacting phosphine with alcohols, metal alcoholates and polyhalogenated hydrocarbons

Simultaneous prepn. of alkyl phosphites, alkyl phosphates and alkanephosphonic acid alkyl esters (see DL application, filing no. 189382) comprises reacting PH3 with alcohols, metal alcoholates and polyhalogenated hydrocarbons. Pref. the PH3 is led into a soln. of the other components. Process gives high yields of the desired prods. in a simple one-stage process, and does not cause environmental pollution or corrosion problems.
