<p>The combined lock consists of a key operated locking system and a keyless actuating locking system. The security of the locking system is increased by the linking of two different actuating systems. This arrangement also ensures that keyless emergency locking possibility is provided which in no way affects adversely the security of the key actuated locking systems. Both locking systems act independently of each other on a joint locking mechanism. The key actuated and keyless locking system has each their own projection on the key which engages with mechanism within the lock. Both locking systems can have also its own key projection and the key projection of both systems engage with the same mechanism of the lock.</p> |
