The suspension arrangement is a hook in a cloakroom with at least one holding hook for hanging garments. The hanging system makes difficult unauthorised removal of the suspended garment. A pivoted lever (15) moves relative to the garment holding hook (12). The pivoted lever closes the hook opening (14) and a cylinder lock (30) is provided. The cylinder lock is operated by a key (31). The key can be detached from the lock (30) when the closing element (15) is locked. The pivoted lever has concave cup end which engages with the convex end (29) of the hook when the system is closed.
