<p>The recess for a heating unit is prefabricated in industrial premises, for ready installation on site in a building, with size depending on the dimensions of the appropriate window or heating unit. It is esp, suitable for use in domestic, office or hotel buildings. It is U-shaped in plan, with both shanks (2) standing upright. It may be cast from concrete reinforced with a steel mesh. Heat-insulating and damp-barrier layers (4, 3) may be applied to the outside facing surface. The top edge is pref. slightly sloped towards the outside. A suitable heating unit retainer may be cast in at the same time.</p> |
