The strip is of a fabric, plastics or paper ribbon and is preferably 1 inch wide. Strips are formed end-to-end in a length of tape (24), Fig. 2, (not shown) and are separated by means of transverse perforations (30), the tape (24) being wound on to a metal, plastics, paper, &c. reel (28); The ends of each strip are bifurcated after separation from the tape.
