The connectors are connected to terminals or inter-cell connectors 10, Fig. 4. Rotary or lateral movement of the connectors 34 is prevented by ribs 42, and rubber and metal washers 13, 12 are provided beneath the wells 30. Upward movement is prevented by L-shaped members 7 welded to the connectors 34. The wells and the space in the lid are filled with foamed epoxy resin, and a cover 1 sealed to the lid. The containers for the cells may be connected by adhesive tape or cement or they may be monobloc. The lid may have upstanding ribs between connectors. |
