<p>1483022 Racquet presses F E PETERS 27 June 1975 [25 April 1975] 27254/75 Heading A6D A tennis racquet press comprises press members 24, 26 held in adjustable spaced apart configuration by mean of screws 28 having square shaped shanks engageable in complementary shaped holes in press member 24, coil, springs mounted on said screws and wing nuts, and having U-shaped clips 60, 62 mounted on press member 24 to enable the press to be releasably attached to the arm 14 of a bicycle fork 16, and a clip 20 mounted on press member 26 to releasably receive a container 22 for tennis balls. Press members 24, 26 have stepped bore holes 50 and 48 therein to receive the various clips. In the embodiment shown, Fig. 2, clip 62 is held in place against press member 24 by means of a screw 28 with its square shank engaging in a complementary hole in one of the arms of the clip 62. Clip 60 has a spigot in one of its side arms which is releasably received in a press-fit fashion in a stepped bore hole 50 in press member 24. Clip 20 for holding the tennis ball container 22 is of horseshoe shape and has a similar spigot which is releasably received in a stepped bore hole 48 in press member 26. The clips 20, 60, 62 are preferably of flexible plastics material, e.g. nylon.</p> |
