发明名称 CYLINDRICAL SOLID ELECTROLYTE TYPE FUEL BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To make the value of contact resistance sufficiently low in a high temperature condition by letting a collector cap which is coupled, be brought closely into contact with a lead section which is extended into the inner surface of the end section of a cylindrical cell by making use of the difference in thermal expansion factor in operating conditions. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical cell 8 is furnished with a lead section 2 at its outer surface, and the center surface of the lead section 2 is formed with a protective film 3 by means of flame spray coating. A collector cap 1 connects each lead wire 5 with the lead section 2, and the lead wire 5 is connected with a screw hole on the surface of the cap 1 with a screw 9. The cap 1 is coupled in while a clearance is maintained to the extent that it comes closely in contact with the lead section 2 of the cell 8 in a high temperature condition when used so that it thereby comes in contact with the lead section 2. Fuel electrodes 16 are provided for the surface of the cell in spaced relation while the cell 8 makes use of a porous tubular substrate 15 as its foundation, a solid electrolyte 17 is connected with the upper section of the fuel electrode 16, with the upper section of which air electrodes 18 are connected, the electrolyte 17 is connected with the air electrodes 18 by the use of interconnectors 19 so as to be connected with generating sections, and plural numbers of the generating sections each of which includes each seal film 20 between the substrate 15 and each connector 19, are connected in series so that electricity is generated in the electrolyte 17.
