<p>1480307 Grills SEB SA 12 Nov 1975 [17 Dec 1974] 46801/75 Heading A4D An electric grill for meat comprises heating resistors 17, 18 each positioned in the vicinity of a reflective side wall 13, 14, a basket (32) for supporting the meat, an entry 21 for the meat at the top of the grill and a gravy collecting tray 22 in the base of the grill, the tray having portions 23, 24 projecting through openings 25, 26 out of the grill, the projecting portions 23, 24 each having a gravy collecting channel located at least partly outside the zone of direct and reflected radiation from the resistors. As shown, the grill comprises metallic end-walls (9, 10) connected together by rods 11, 12 and supporting the transparent or tinted glass side walls 13, 14, a reflector (19 or 19a) being secured on the inside of each side wall. The meat to be grilled is held in the basket (32) which has hooks 33, 34 by which it is suspended from notches 37 in the tops of the end walls. The side walls 13, 14 and the reflectors are removable for cleaning. The relfectors may each have a longitudinal boss 20 to impart rigidity and Fig. 3 (not shown) flanges (19b, 19c) for concentrating the heat. The bottom of the tray slopes down towards the gravy collecting channels.</p> |
