<p>1475302 Partitions BPB INDUSTRIES Ltd 22 May 1974 [5 June 1973] 26783/73 Heading E1W Partition panels 12 of, e.g. cementitious material, are fixed to flanged uprights 10 by attachment members 13 which each have a first flange 21 engaging a groove 18 or kerf in the panel edge and a second flange 16 provided with fixing means 17 engaging slots 11 in a flange of the upright. The upright may be of I-, L- or rectangular C-section, or of hollow rectangular section. The attachment members 13 preferably have slightly converging flanges 16, 21 to provide a spring grip on panel edge 14, and preferably extend full panel height, with one or two stop-ends 15. Alternatively, several shorter members may be provided. The fixing means may be integral with, or fixed to the members 13 and may be clips or tabs, and the slots 11 may be single or in adjacent pairs, and of rectangular shape (as shown) or trapezoidal, circular or oval.</p> |
