First is applied as primer one or more coatings of a composition comprising (in percentage by wt. of binder components): 5-90% of a condensation product of bisphenol A or F with epichlorohydrin, 5-90% of an aminoplast resin, e.g. a benzoguanamine/ formaldehyde condensate, 5-90% of polyvinylidine chloride and 50-900% of particulate zinc. As a top coat a similar coating without Zn is applied. Both coatings may contain hydrophobic SiO 2 , TiO 2 ,.zirconium silicate and polydimethylsiloxane.</p> |
