<p>The glycoprotein fraction is obtained from rabies virus by cleavage with a surface-active substance. This fraction is subjected to separation into fractions of differing isoelectric points and the fraction with an isoelectric point between 6.8 and 7.4 is isolated. The isolated cleavage product can be used as an active constituent in a vaccine.</p> |
