<p>PURPOSE:To permit the position of the synchronous shaft to be quickly lowered down to a position corresponding to cut-off load so that AFC control after the fall may be shocklessly and automatically set in inorder to minimize the over-speed of the turbine even in case of sudden reduction of the generator load due to separation of the system or cut-off of load.</p> |
