A system for automatic achievement of a preset temperature level for room air conditioning by means of cold production devices working in relation to the external temperature level for which at a level below a preselectable external temperature level a constant temperature level is maintained. The preselected value of the external temperature is used as a boundary temperature such that at an ambient temperature level above the boundary level the internal temperature value is varied as a function of the exterior shade temperature.
