The ribs 62 are separated by notches 66 and a floor of the tray 10 has viewing windows 22, 24 and fluted portions 30, 32, 40, 42. The lip 60 and ribs 62 may be of approximately equal height to engage the overwrap film 80 when covering a portion of meat 70 of about the same depth as the tray 10, or the ribs (162), Fig. 4 (not shown), may project beyond the lip (160) if the meat (170) is of significantly greater depth.</p> |
