Between the movable end part (10) and the fixedly arranged conveyor track (5, 6, 7) there is provided a rocker (16), forming part of the conveyor track (4). Attached at various points of the rocker are at least two blocking means (19, 20) for holding back the conveyed-material carriers (8). At the movable end part (10) there are actuating elements (21), which swivel and lock the rocker (16). The blocking means (19, 20) are in this case brought into an ineffective position, so that the conveyed-material carrier deposited on the rocker can roll onto the end part. This arrangement creates for a run-through channel an automatically operating block which can be relied upon to allow in each case only one or a certain number of conveyed-material carriers or the like to pass onto the extendible end part and to hold back the remaining conveyed-material carriers in the run-through channel. <IMAGE>
